I heard of this case a few nights. Kafkas Canada stirkes eerily close to our last book the trial. I would love to know some thoughts on the matter and anyones opinion of similar happening in the US. Also here is a video clip of his first "hearing". This is an amazing example of political correctness and sensitivity gone awry. How far are we from this in this country, in my opinion we have only a very short distance to travel before everyone with "extreme beliefs" meaning offensive to any minority or favored group, is hauled before an inquisitorial body like this.

strangely enough, that's exactly how the interrogatories began for my legal action.
if i recall correctly, when that cartoon came out, a lot of the public were up in arms... not just the press or Islamic community. it's amazing to see how "reaction" is so sensitive, but even more amazing to see that even after the "reaction" phase is over, people still insist on jeopardizing their own civil rights... or at least waste tax payer [canadian] dollars.
do you think our willingness to jeopardize our own civil rights is a result of our own desire not to make difficult decisions for ourselves?--a herd-mentality, or depending on how you view our government--stockholm syndrome?
